Parent or legal guardian must accompany all new students, regardless of age or grade, when registering. Appropriate registration forms shall be completed and signed at this time by the student's parent or
legal guardian.

Students new to Cedar Hill ISD must have the following documents:

1)  Proof of Residence:	The School Board requires evidence be provided to show that every student is in compliance with residency requirements. This evidence could be a current lease agreement (parent's/guardian's name must be on the lease) or a current utility bill (electric, gas, or water only) with parent's/guardian's name on the bill with current address.
2) Original Birth      Certificate:	New students shall submit a original birth certificate or another document suitable as proof of the student's identity (hospital certificate, baptismal certificate, letter from attending physician, sworn statement from parent, or a passport).
3)  Evidence of Prior       Schooling Outside       the District:	A copy of the student's records (transcript) from the school the child most recently attended is required.

5) Immunization      Records:	Students enrolling in school must bring complete immunization records and be in compliance with the new 2009-2010 Texas Immunization Requirements, at the time of enrollment. Please go to the 2009-10 Immunization Requirements webpage for more information.
